Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is one of the most effective martial arts in the world. It gives the ability for a smaller, weaker person to defeat a bigger, stronger opponent. It is as close to having a super power as one can get. Your body literally becomes a weapon!
The techniques were developed by the samurai on the battlefields of feudal Japan and refined in Brazil to become the art that we know today. Besides the physical rewards, it also provides a source of confidence and stress management in your daily life. At the Kingsnake pit, we first learn basic self-defense before diving into the sporting aspect.
For both males and females, students accepted from ages 7 - 75, exceptions are made for special situations. Prices are $80 for adults, $70 for 1st responders and $60 for kids. The first 2 private lessons are free. Refer a friend for a 3rd free lesson. There is also a free women’s self-defense program offered once a month.
